Dog owner Louise brings her poorly westie Duffy to Boroughbridge where, assisted by his wife and colleague Anne, Julian Norton faces one of his most challenging surgeries. Elsewhere, Peter races to an emergency lambing. Farmer Phil's ewe is expecting triplets, but has been unable to deliver two of them due to complications. Peter has to administer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation once the lambs are born, but will it be enough?
