The Rainbow Warriors (4-4) play the Cougars (3-4) in the New Mexico Bowl. Hawaii defeated Houston 54-48 during their only prior encounter in the 2003 Hawaii Bowl. The Warriors seek their first non-Hawaii Bowl victory since the 1999 Oahu Classic.
