TF1 (Télévision Française Un) came up with this export-oriented series in which a recognizable French actor (Jean Reno) speaks in English and plays Jo St-Clair, a cop with an attitude (!) who has a troubled past (!) and a complicated family life (!) and who solves crimes around Paris (even on the Eiffel Tower according to the trailer… yeah, it’s for tourists – where are the mimes and the escargots ?
