1 - 1: Left for Dead

Johnia Berry is stabbed more than 22 times in her Knoxville, Tenn., bedroom while her male roommate escapes with his life after he is stabbed also.  Her roommate runs to a nearby convenience store where he frantically speaks with police, afraid his roommate has died and that his injuries are serious enough that he may die himself.  As law enforcement begins to investigate, they can't fathom how this young man evaded Johnia's fate, and wonder if he may be involved.
