After dreaming that he and Monica were together, Joey is convinced he is in love with Monica. However, she makes him realise he isn't in love with her: he just wants a cosy relationship like hers and Chandler's, something he has never had before. Meanwhile, Phoebe finds an NYPD badge in Central Perk and uses it to uphold the law in her own manner. She is delighted with her new superiority - until she meets a cop called Gary, whilst Chandler, Ross and Rachel struggle to get Ross's new couch up a flight of stairs.
