This is the first episode of the 8 episode political drama series, BOSS which follows the life of Mayor Tom Kane. In the season 1 premiere, Mayor Tom Kane has just discovered he has a serious medical condition - a degenerative neurological disorder which might possibly affect his normal motor functioning, mood and might gradually loss his cognitive abilities. However, he must focus on the upcoming gubernatorial primary while attempting to reconcile with his distant wife and estranged daughter.
