After falling over during the night at home and being rushed into A&E, 85-year-old Maura faces potentially life-changing injuries. CT scans reveal broken bones in her spine, and her son and daughter-in-law must decide when to share the gravity of the situation with Maura and her granddaughter Meg. Meanwhile, 37-year-old doctor Jim arrives at St Georges after a collision with a van while he was cycling to work.
