Plot

An animated film sequel to the 2009 animated movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The plot of the film follows right after the disastrous food storm from the first film caused by Flint Lockwood's machine. His friends are forced to leave the town of Swallow Falls and accepts the invitation from his idol Chester V to join The Live Corp Company, which has been tasked to clean the island, and where the best inventors in the world create technologies for the betterment of mankind and planet Earth. Flint soon discovered that his machine is still working and this time creates mutant food beasts like living pickles, hungry tacodile supremes, shrimpanzees, apple pie-thons and more. He must do his everything with his friends to stop his own machine from producing more food monsters that will invade the planet. Voices that are featured on this movie are Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Benjamin Bratt, Terry Crews, Will Forte and Kristen Schaal. The film was directed by Cody Cameron (director of Open Season 3) and Kris Pearn.
