Plot

The Watch (previously titled as "Neighborhood Watch") is a 2012 science fiction film that stars Ben Stiller as Evan Trautwig - the primary protagonist of the movie that forms the neighborhood watch, Vince Vaughn as Bob Finnerty, the father that joins the watch to spy on his teen daughter, Jonah Hill as Franklin, the frustrated police wanna be, Richard Ayoade as Jamarcus, and Rosemarie DeWitt as the wife of Evan. The Watch was directed by Akiva Schaffer. The movie surround with the life of group of suburbanites composed of Evan, Bob, Franklin and Jamarcus who form a neighborhood watch for the purpose of allowing themselves to escape from their families and boring lives. However they soon discover that they will play a big part for saving the world when they discover an alien plot that threatens the world's very existence. The film will be premiered on July 23 this year in Hollywood at Grauman's Chinese Theatre and will be globally showcase in various theaters beginning July 27th.
