The Fault in Our Stars is a 2014 American romantic-comedy-drama movie based on the John Green's novel with the same title. The movie stars Shailene Woodley as Hazel Grace Lancaster, Ansel Elgort as Augustus Waters, Nat Wolff as Isaac, Laura Dern as Frannie Lancaster, Sam Trammell as Michael Lancaster, Mike Birbiglia as Patrick, Lotte Verbeek as Lidewij Vliegenthart, Willem Dafoe as Peter van Houten, Milica Govich as Mrs. Waters, David Whalen as Mr. Waters, Ana Dela Cruz as Dr. Maria, Emily Peachey as Monica and Emily Bach as Monica's mom. The film follows Hazel Grace Lancaster (Woodley), a sixteen-year-old cancer patient who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters, portrayed by Ansel Elgort. The movie received positive reviews from various critics around the globe and so "click" with teens of today. One critic even said that "while The Fault in Our Stars can be overbearingly schlocky at times, it is also an emotionally heartfelt film, especially in regards to the central romance that is sure to make the target audience swoon" (quoted from Matthew Pejkovic of Matt's Movie Review.
