Plot

Prometheus is a 2012 science fiction film that stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron. It is directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Hannibal) and written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof. The film centers with the story of the crew of Prometheus ship which traveled a distant planet to only discover a bio-mechanoid killers that might lead to the extinction of human race. The term 'prometheus' was taken from the Greek mythology Titan who stole fire from Olympus and gave it to humankind. Release date of the movie are May 30, 2012 in Belgium, France and Switzerland while June 8, 2012 in the United States.
